I have no idea why an Easter brunch item would have its own day in September but it does. Try this No knead hot cross buns recipe. Photo credit goes to Melanie from A Virtual Vegan.

Wow, I had no idea! How wonderful! I am so glad you told me. It will have to be a belated celebration, as I have only discovered your post with fifty five minutes to spare! There just isn’t time to find a twenty-four hour shop which sells hot cross buns. But I love that they have their own day, good for them. 😀

I’ve been debating if I should be a day early in posting. I try to get the posts out for 10 am my time, but not everyone sees it right away 🙂

I think it’s a great idea posting on the day of the special holiday, it encourages people to be spontaneous, and we can add things to our diaries for next year! ❤ Normally I would have seen that earlier, but I have been away from my computer, that's how I missed it. I always am a week or two late for pancake day, and I see that one coming a mile off.

Some foods are worth celebrating every single day 😀 like home fries! That’s my weakness.
