Aug 4- National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day

on

Whenever I see or hear the words chocolate chip cookies, I always think of easy, delicious cookies by Dreena Burton. Her Homestyle chocolate chip cookies were the first batch I made (when I choose to live a vegan lifestyle) that tasted GOOD! I tried other chocolate chip recipes before and well I didn’t have good results with them.

I love to make these in the morning so the kids have fresh cookies at lunch, or whip a batch up after school for a treat. The baking time is only 11 mins. So you do have time!

You have too! I have a feeling Dreena’s recipe will be your go to for chocolate chip cookies! I’d make a double batch as they don’t last long. At least not in my house with the minions here. I’m sure they’ve burnt their mouths because they couldn’t wait a few minutes.
